Had an appointment at 2pm and was told they were “on their way” around 2:30. Here I am at 4:58 and they’re still not here. Currently asking for a refund of $30 I had to pay to book the appointment (don’t think they’ll refund it). Wasted 3 hours I could’ve spent cleaning the car myself

I had previously thought that KBT did a good job and everything until I went to SS Autowerks these guys charged me $400 for a service my truck really wasn't dirty to begin with but It had a main issue that was really the main concern my life had accidentally left chicken in my truck and it baked and stunk it up my only real concern was to extract the smell from this truck which did not happen they were using a Bissell house steam cleaner which is by far not strong enough I took my truck to SS Autowerks in Temple and the amount of dirt that came out was insane also because these guys didn't have the proper equipment I now have maggots in my truck and have to replace the whole carpet and not only did I pay them $400 they were wanting to charge me an additional $200 to come to there shop and do what they should have done in the first place take the carpet out or pull it back and use a proper extractor to get the smell out do not recommend these guys granted they did do a service it just wasn't what I should have gotten for the price I paid them

I scheduled an appointment with KBT to have my windshield tinted. When I called, I specifically asked for 50%, which is what I’ve had on my other vehicles. I was told they only went as dark as 70% for legal reasons, which was completely fine with me. I dropped my car off and waited in the lobby for about two and a half hours before I finally asked for an update. I was told it had been completed, and about 30 minutes later I was able to look at the car. Unfortunately, they had installed tint that was significantly darker than what I had requested. It was so dark that you could not see any of the tan interior from the outside. I understand that mistakes happen, and I wasn’t upset about the mistake itself. What confused me was being told over the phone that 70% was their darkest option when what was installed appeared to be I would guess 10-15%. At this point, I had already been there for over three hours, so I asked them to remove the incorrect tint so I could leave and come back another time if necessary. About 20 minutes later, I went outside and found my car sitting there idling. It appeared to have been running for roughly 15–20 minutes without anyone working on it. I was understandably frustrated at that point and expressed my frustration before going inside to get my keys. The situation became even more frustrating when the owner of the collision center, who I believe was separate from KBT, overheard me and became extremely upset with me. He yelled at me, demanded an apology, and told me to leave. I did so without arguing. I was fed up and he was acting violent. On top of everything else, there was soapy residue left throughout parts of my interior and exterior, and my registration sticker was not returned to me after the incorrect tint was removed. To be clear, I am not leaving this review because they made a mistake with the tint. Mistakes happen. My frustration came from the overall experience: the lack of communication, the amount of time it took, the apparent lack of attention to detail, and the way my vehicle was handled. I ultimately went to another tint shop and they were able to get me in and out in about an hour. The only reason I am not leaving a one-star review is because the owner of the detailing/tint company (at least I believe he was the owner) did apologize to me for both the tint issue and the way I was treated by the collision center. I appreciated him taking responsibility and apologizing, but unfortunately, the overall experience was still very disappointing. *edit in response to owner*: as I mentioned in my review, I had the tint already taken off and the. Took it to another shop that same day who got it done in one hour. I refused to leave y’all’s shop until the tint was removed. I have attached a photo. I wasn’t being picky about the tint, I would have been pulled over on my way home probably. Again, yall said the LOWEST yall would put is 70% for LEGAL reasons.

Thanks to this company I feel comfortable riding in a use older suv that I just bought inside was fairly dirty. I’ll say that they got 90% of the filth out of the crevices. So overall I would highly recommend this company: they have early responses, fast appointments availability, let’s not forget the convenience of the mobile services.
